So I finally bought a new pair of Converse trainers. They’re red and pretty rad. I just needed a new pair, because my old one was worn out to the extreme. The socks were showing, just so you know. And people in the underground would stare a bit. It can never compare to the amount of staring one gets when transporting a cake in a Tupperware in the street, though. Try it, and make sure your Tupperware colour matches the one of your pants.

About yesterday’s linoleum, I have a new engraving. It isn’t amazing, but I think it’s pretty alright when my scanner doesn’t blur the textures of the paper… Anyway, working in linoleum after having worked with wood is so soft, it seems like cutting butter!
I was preparing chicken curry with my friend Mar on Tuesday. We had bought two small chickens, since we were many for lunch, and we both were getting the chickens ready for being cooked. When we open them, pops out a plastic bag with some organs. Seriously… Now, I’m not used to buying chickens at the supermarket, I usually get them at the butcher and they don’t have plastic bags inside. I wonder if it’s that common and if I’m just out f the modern chicken world.
Went to get some free linoleum at a shop today. The guy gave me a very tiny bit, and it’s a dark gray piece so it will be hard to see the pencil lines when I draw there. Can’t complain though, it’s free and I need to do quite a few linoleum engravings for next week’s periodic evaluation.

So, I was talking with someone today only to realize, again, how timing is important. I mean, I am no different from any young person from the 40’s, yet, I don’t actually have to see my friends go to war neither do I have to work in a factory. Only due to timing. Can’t be too bad, right?
